Lions, Lioness and Leos of 27-B1 and friends of B1 held the 36th Annual Convention of District 27-B1 at the Holiday Inn in Manitowoc with the theme, "I Believe - LIONS Mark a Difference"

Our International Guest was ID Eugene Spiess from South Carolina.

The traditional Friday night Fish buffet with 65 attending started out the convention followed by the Friday night hospitality. This year’s hospitality theme was “HELPING HANDS” and many costumes were donned. There was also a chance to display your bowling skills as we played Wii for your enjoyment and to raise some funds for Lions projects.

Every club was asked to bring a gift to be included in our successful “Bucket Raffle.” This year we received $800+.

Saturday began with free coffee, juice, rolls and fruit for registered attendees. The opening business session began at 8:30 a.m. There were 199 who attended the luncheon banquet.
